Rugby Architectural Building Products is a wholesale distributor of specialty building products, operating out of 29 branches throughout the United States. In Lenexa, KS we do business as Olathe Millwork. Our primary business is selling value-added products including interior and exterior doors and moldings for commercial and residential projects. We are a fast-paced production warehouse that procures raw materials to pre-hang doors and deliver to our multi-family projects all over the United States.

We are growing and seeking an Inventory Control Specialist.Summary: We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our inventory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Your keen eye for detail and organizational skills will be crucial in supporting our supply chain operations and overall business success.

  • Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour, depending on experience
  • Shift Times: Monday through Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm.

Your Day-to-Day: to excel in this role, you will need to...
  • Receive incoming freight.
  • Label and locate incoming freight.
  • Review current inventory, cycle counts, and zone bin reports on regular basis.
  • Work closely with procurement to notify on low inventory and outages.
  • Map warehouses with clear bin locations.
  • Pull parts needed for production.

  • You have tremendous attention to detail.
  • You’re experience in inventory control and warehouse operations, with a minimum of 2 years experience in similar settings (ideally, you’re experienced with windows, doors, trim, and hardware).
  • You can lift 50 lbs routinely.
  • You are forklift experienced, ideally certified, with the ability to go up and down on forklifts and ladders.
  • You have proven experience in inventory control, supply chain management, or related fields, with proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar systems). Knowledge and experience with our DSMi Agility software a big plus!
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • This is a safety sensitive position, subject to routine drug screenings.
