Ruler Food Store is Hiring a Multi-Unit Area Leader in Training Near Evansville, IN

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced multi-unit leader to join our Area Leader Training Program. The candidate will learn to run a store, work on special projects, and prepare to oversee multiple locations within our organization as an opening arises. The ideal candidate will be open to relocation across our division, responsible for driving sales, business development, and profitability across the designated area.

Responsibilities:
- Implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand customer base
- Supervise and lead a team of managers and staff members to ensure operational excellence
- Monitor and analyze profit loss statements to identify areas for improvement
- Implement initiatives for process improvement and operational efficiency
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to enhance team productivity
- Collaborate with senior management on strategic planning and goal setting
- Manage projects from inception to completion ensuring timely delivery
- Facilitate interactions between store managers and division staff
- Counsel and assist store managers in the development of management team and other store team members
- Identify talent and develop successors for positions to include store and division
- Work with appropriate HR teams to ensure the adequate recruiting, hiring, training, development and evaluation of store management and all team members
- Supervise and coach direct reports on the performance of their duties, complete performance reviews, and provide feedback to direct reports
- Travel up to 75% to stores within the division
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

Skills:
- Proven experience in sales, business development, and managing multiple locations
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams effectively
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and mentor others
- Experience in process improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiency
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role, preferably in a multi-unit setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in strategic planning, leadership, and profit & loss management
- Proven track record in supervising teams and driving sales growth
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
- Candidate MUST be willing to relocate to any area within our division

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
