DescriptionJob SummaryMaintains the established standards of service, hospitality, cleanliness, and safety in the Wellness Center and recreational areas. This is a seasonal part-time position.
Essential Job Duties
Essential Job Duties
- Applies comprehensive knowledge of all Wellness Center operations, products, services and programs daily.
- Collects reservations for all Wellness Center services and programs as well as Spa and Salon appointments.
- Provides accurate information to guests and members on Wellness Center services, Spa & Salon services, recreational programs and other Rumbling Bald related information.
- Assists guests with sports equipment rentals and activities and retail POS.
- Ensures maximum guest satisfaction and quality of operations, including retail floor display areas.
- Monitors that the usage rules of the Wellness Center, fitness center, and indoor pool are adhered to for guarantee of guest and associate safety.
- Performs cash handling procedures for revenue transactions in accordance with company policies.
- Maintains cleanliness and appearance of all Wellness Center areas.
- Communicates daily with Wellness Center staff, as well as other department staff members to maintain guest satisfaction.
- Performs all duties in a courteous, prompt, and professional manner.
- Other related duties as assigned by the Wellness Manager/Lead Wellness Representative.
- 1-year experience in a customer service-based/retail position.
- 6 months to 1-year experience in a recreation or customer service setting.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Certified CPR, Lifesaving Certificate and/or First Aid preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check
- Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, drive and motivation.
- Must be able to work varied shifts including weekends, nights, and holidays
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear and speak with others using clear and professional language.
- Must be able to endure long periods of sitting, standing or walking in a hot, humid environment.
- Will be occasionally required to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 15 pounds without assistance.
- Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping and use hands and fingers to handle, or feel.
- Drive vehicle for performance of duties.
