Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounts Payable Assistant at Rumiano Cheese Company in Willows, CA. The Accounts Payable Assistant will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounts payable tasks, including processing invoices, reconciling payments, and managing vendor relationships. They will also assist with financial analysis and reporting, as well as providing support to the accounting team.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

· File documents for A/P

· Assist with Data entry for A/P

· Scan Documents into Nav

· Sort through Accounting Mail and separate customer checks for deposit

· Enter journal entries in Nav

· Run Nav reports at month-end

· Work on special projects for finance team

Qualifications

• Finance and Accounting skills
• Analytical skills
• Invoicing and payment processing experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Navision)
• Experience in the food or manufacturing industry is a plus
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred

Benefits & Wages

· $18.00 - $23 depending on experience

FLSA & Employment Status

• Hourly Non-Exempt. Shifts are 8 hours. Monday through Friday, onsite in Willows, CA.
