Job Description:
Available shift: Must be flexible with shifts to accommodate client services.
Full Time: Monday – Friday 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Responsibilities:
  • You will be working during the week starting at 6:30 AM, including some weekends
  • You will be provided a planned route of locations to service and will be responsible to complete your work within the given time with a crew of 2-3 people.
  • You will be responsible for and operate a medium duty truck and landscaping trailer, zero turn mowers, commercial walk behind mowers, trimmers, blowers, edger and other landscaping equipment and be required to inspect them daily to ensure safe operation. During winter months you will operate snowplows, salters, skid loaders and other snow removal equipment.
  • You will work outside and perform weekly routine services including mowing and trimming lawns, edging mulch beds and sidewalks, pulling weeds from mulched areas, spraying weeds in mulched areas and in hard surfaces and cracks with Roundup, blowing lawn clippings and debris off parking lots, sidewalks and mulched areas, trimming bushes and hedges and performing spring cleanup and mulching and fall leaf removal. You will also hand pick litter and debris from around buildings, landscaping grounds and hard to reach areas. You could walk 5 miles in a day. During winter months you will perform tree pruning and snow plowing or salting services using a snowplow truck, skid loader, wheel loader or other equipment during snow events.
  • You will be provided proper safety equipment (PPE), and will need to wear pants, a company uniform shirt, and boots.
  • Review scheduled routes assigned and be proactive and ask questions if route is unclear.
Requirements:
  • Valid US Driver License and clean driving record.
  • Must have current D.O.T. Medical Card
  • 2 years’ experience as a Landscape Crew Leader is required.
  • Competency in completing pre and post trip truck inspections and other required tasks.
  • Ability to pass employment and random drug tests
  • Ability to follow GPS directions and read maps
  • Use smart phone to log in and log out of mobile work order application to record work and upload photos
  • Ability to lift 80 lbs.
  • Always wear company issued uniform
  • Smoking is not permitted for this position.
