POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- License: Current state of Illinois Registered Nurse license required.
- Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred. For hires or transfers on/after 8/1/2013, must attain a BSN within 5 years of hire/transfer date.
- Certifications: CPR Required
- ACLS required within one year of hire or transfer
- Certification in Medical Surgical Nursing or PCCN desired
- Special Skills: Maintain NIHSS certification as required.
- Completion of Telemetry monitoring course at time of hire or within first 12 months of employment.
- Experience: 1-2 years of acute nursing experience is desired.
