Russell Tobin & Associates is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to work for our client in the life sciences industry. Apply now for consideration!

Contract: 9 months

Location: Waltham, MA

Pay Range: $18-20/hr depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Handle all inbound and outbound customer service calls, providing exceptional service to clients and medical staff throughout the delivery life cycle of company’s services.
• Address and resolve cross-functional customer issues, including order discrepancies, complaints, billing, and shipping concerns, ensuring timely and satisfactory outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, providing support and information as needed.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of client information through careful review, processing, and database entry.
• Collaborate with Customer Service Management to implement call center changes based on customer feedback.
• Complete non-phone tasks such as board checks, filing, fax checking, and email claims in a timely manner.
• Maintain high standards of service, ensuring no client or employee complaints arise from inappropriate behavior or handling of situations.
• Participate in the Customer Service On-Call Program (required for full-time employees).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 0-2 years of experience in customer service and/or contact center (consumer market).
• Understanding of fundamental call center metrics and performance management techniques.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and phone skills.
• High reliability and motivation to excel.
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines.
• Superior planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Basic typing, computer skills, and data entry experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Siebel database and Salesforce is a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish is a nice-to-have but not required.
