As a leader in fine dining, we are partnering with a world renowned chef in search of a strategic, guest-facing GENERAL MANAGER dedicated to providing white-glove hospitality while fostering excellence and motivation in yet another new venture, located in the heart of NYC.

About the Role:

As the primary point of contact for guests, the ideal GENERAL MANAGER will provide high-quality concierge service while overseeing all aspects of culinary and dining operations at an exceptional fine-dining standard. The GM will maintain visibility during meals and events, greeting guests and supporting staff, collaborating closely with the Director of Operations on guest experience and communications strategy. Additionally, the GM will recruit, train, and manage the Food & Beverage team to ensure strict adherence to standards. You'll be able to develop and execute strategic plans, budgets, and cost control measures, working also alongside the culinary team to innovate menus that cater to diverse dietary needs. You'll oversee F&B operations, maintaining high service and cleanliness standards, and make recommendations for necessary maintenance and improvements.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in fine-dining establishments, with preference for Private Membership Dining concepts.
• Dynamic, outgoing personality with superior interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to make independent decisions.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Advanced PC skills (Microsoft Office – Word & Excel).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, coordinate with F&B labor costs while maintaining operational standards.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to business demands.

Physical requirements:

• Ability to maintain job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal and state standards including meeting qualitative productivity benchmarks.

• Regular ability to bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height.
