My client, a world renowned Celebrity Chef with restaurants spanning across several continents, is opening a Social Club in New York City, and is looking for a Pastry Chef. If you are an experienced Pastry Chef with experience in Private Dining or Fine Dining, you'd be a great fit.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with menu development - focus on cakes, cookies, pies, breads, etc.
- Assist in preparation of all pastries, following traditional and modern recipes
- Control effective storage and stock levels
- Oversee aspects of food and labor costs
- Supervise and mentor day to day activities of junior staff
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of Pastry experience
- Experience in Fine/Private Dining is proffered
- NYC Food Handler/Sanitation Certified
