Job Title: Sustaining Engineer
Location: San Antonio, TX
Duration: 12 Months (with possible extension)
Payrate: $44/hr. to $47/hr.
Duties:
The Senior Sustaining Engineer is responsible for supporting large-scale programs within the Product Engineering Department. This role entails conventional engineering practices alongside complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unconventional materials, and intricate coordination needs.
- Organize, plan, monitor, control, and schedule the necessary activities of large-scale projects to achieve goals.
- Demonstrate strong technical writing skills to support design inputs, design outputs, qualification activities, regulatory requirements, and related pursuits.
- Adhere to Design Control procedures and comply with the requirements of 21CFR820 Quality System Regulations, ISO 13485, and ISO 14971 as applicable.
- Plan, develop, and implement Engineering Change plans.
Education:
A bachelor’s degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, Electrical, or similar engineering disciplines is required.
