Position Summary:
This position requires building, repairing, electrical, plumbing, painting, HVAC, carpentry and other related building maintenance tasks to keep our facilities safe and running.
Responsibilities/Duties:Performs building, electrical, plumbing and painting maintenance and repairs
Installs, troubleshoots and repairs plumbing including copper, galvanized, DWV and other piping types, and finish and service plumbing fixtures
Installs, troubleshoots and repairs electrical problems including circuits, wiring, and electrical fixtures
Troubleshoots and repairs small machines and equipment, and different type of doors
Troubleshoots, adjusts, repairs and replaces HVAC equipment
Repairs structures and apparatus requiring the application of carpentry and painting skills
Removes snow and ice from walkways at facilities if necessary
Completes forms which involve tracking costs of labor and parts
Estimates the cost of jobs
Other duties as defined by management

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Safety and safe working practices
Knowledge of code and regulations
Must have skill of handy work
Ability to use the power tools in a right way
Ability of walk, kneel, stand, and crouch for a longer period
Be able to lift at least 50lbs
Good math/measuring skills


Credentials and Experience:
2 year minimum of trades or maintenance experience
