Position: Manufacturing Manager

Reports to: Vice President

Shift: 1st shift 8:00AM-5:00PM

Manufacturing Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day production of the plant.

• Understand and manage both production and service type orders.

• Manager customer orders and quotes, working with the sales team.

• Identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to address these needs.

• Oversee the hiring of new employees and the modification of internal processes.

• Oversee inventory management and purchasing.

Manufacturing Manager Qualifications:

• 5-10 years' experience in a leading or supervising in a manufacturing environment or equivalent industry.

• Experience in steel, automotive, or machining is preferred.

• P&L understanding and ability to work within a budget required.

• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.

• Strong understanding of both production and service type orders and quoting.

• Experience in identifying and implementing process improvements.

• Ability to make informed decisions and solve problems effectively.

Reporting Relationships:

In this position, you will report to the Vice President, providing regular updates and insights.
