Position: Manufacturing Manager
Reports to: Vice President
Shift: 1st shift 8:00AM-5:00PM
Manufacturing Manager Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day production of the plant.
Understand and manage both production and service type orders.
Manager customer orders and quotes, working with the sales team.
Identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to address these needs.
Oversee the hiring of new employees and the modification of internal processes.
Oversee inventory management and purchasing.
Manufacturing Manager Qualifications:
5-10 years' experience in a leading or supervising in a manufacturing environment or equivalent industry.
Experience in steel, automotive, or machining is preferred.
P&L understanding and ability to work within a budget required.
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
Strong understanding of both production and service type orders and quoting.
Experience in identifying and implementing process improvements.
Ability to make informed decisions and solve problems effectively.
Reporting Relationships:
In this position, you will report to the Vice President, providing regular updates and insights.
