Job Overview:

Trinitas Regional Medical Center, an RWJBH facility is searching for a Director for Extended Care with supportive and empowering leadership qualities,

The candidate should share in the mission, vision and values of the RWJBH family

Qualifications:

Required:

Must have good interpersonal and communication skills

Must have Cardio Pulmonary Certification.

Prefer at least one year of experience in Long-Term care Nursing

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • NJ RN License
  • BLS from the American Heart Association

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Full Time
  • Day Shift, 37.5 hours per week

Essential Functions:

1, Integrate the services with the Hospital s primary functions,

2,Coordinates/integrates inter-intradepartmental services,

3,Develop/implement Policies and Procedures that guide/support services,

4,Determine staff qualifications and competence,

5,Continuously assess/improve department performance,

6,Maintain appropriate Quality Control programs,

7,Participate in orientation/continuing education of Department staff,

8,Participate in selection of outside services,

9,Ensure the department operations are effective and efficient,

10,Hold staff accountable for their responsibilities,

11,Ensures the responsibilities for administrative and clinical direction are defined in writing,

12,Ensure coordination of care/treatment /services,

13,Ensure that all areas providing patient care are directed by qualified professionals with appropriate training and experience,

14,Maintains the integrity of the department s payroll by ensuring that personnel are not paid for more paid time off than they are entitled to and premium overtime is kept to a minimum,

15,Completes all staff introductory evaluations, annual evaluations and re-evaluations within the timelines outlined and in accordance with Human Resources policy,
