Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is currently hiring experienced Registered Nurses to join our System-wide Float Pool. In this role, RN s float to different hospital s within the RWJBarnabas Health System to add additional support to the site RN s. Opportunities are available to float regionally (northern region or southern region) or to float across the entire RWJBH Healthcare System. Average site assignment is three (3) months (less or more). Assignment length will be based upon facility need.

Opportunities currently available in the following specialties on the night shift:

• OR
• Oncology
• Telemetry

Qualifications:

Required:

• A minimum of 3 years of RN experience working in one of these specialties is required to be considered for this role
• Current New Jersey RN licensure required
• BLS, ACLS required
• Travel required to various hospital-based facilities within RWJBarnabas Health
• Excellent communication, leadership and collaboration skills
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrated ability to be an effective role model to others
• Flexibility and adaptability is essential in meeting System staffing needs as required
• Successful completion of all Orientation Programs

Preferred:

• Certifications such as CEN, CCRN or Telemetry Certification strongly preferred
• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN strongly preferred

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• Current New Jersey RN licensure required
• BLS, ACLS required

Scheduling Requirements:

• (3) 2 hours shifts per week (for Oncology and Tele)
