Position Overview: As the Marketing Coordinator for RWM Home Loans, you are an integral part of expanding RWM’s reach and brand awareness by collaborating with our sales and business development teams. Headquartered in San Diego, RWM Home Loans is a rapidly expanding community mortgage lender with presence across 18 states and counting. We are on a mission to make homeownership more attainable and a key part of achieving that is through events, outreach campaigns, and social media.

We are seeking a multi-passionate and customer-service oriented candidate who has experience in the mortgage or financial services industry and is well-versed in events, email marketing, social media, reputation management, and organic campaigns. You’ll need a strong commitment to providing 5-star customer service to the salespeople you will support by coordinating their marketing campaigns and leveling up our in-house marketing services they rely on.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Account Management: Collaborate directly with loan officers to understand their marketing goals and bring their ideas to live by executing their marketing requests. You will conduct one-on-one meetings with them to outline the request and deliver high-quality work to meet their goals.
2. Event Support: Lead coordination of educational workshops, community events, and other social functions by facilitating event registrations, designing invitations, conducting outreach, and monitoring RSVPs. A plus if you are open to attending events, including those out-of-state, occasionally.
3. Newsletters: Leverage MailChimp to create and coordinate our internal newsletters to keep our team informed of the latest company news, training opportunities, employee awards, and more.
4. Online Listing Management: Manage our online reputation by overseeing and updating our online profiles including Google My Business, Yelp, Experience.com, and others.
5. Automated Campaign Support: Design and lead automated campaigns including email, mailed, and more. Use the CRM to distribute templates, automate, monitor adoption, and manage distribution.
6. Request Follow-Up: Monitor marketing inbox and convert requests into Asana tasks. Reply in a timely manner to email inquiries and provide excellent service to our sales team.

Benefits:

• $50,000- $65,000 base pay depending on experience and qualifications, non-exempt.

Qualifications: 

• Minimum of 4 years of marketing experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred, otherwise must have equivalent job experience.
• Mortgage or financial services industry experience required.
• Must be based in San Diego, CA – position is in-office. May be some flexibility for occasional remote.
• Be highly communicative, collaborative, and a self-starter. Strong organizational skills and ability to balance a variety of projects.
• Canva and Adobe Creative Suite experience required.
• CRM experience required.
• Customer-service or account management experience a plus.
• Videography and photography experience is a plus but not required.
• Up to 10% travel.
• Spanish-speaking highly desired.
