Job Summary:
The Pharmaceutical Disposal Services Sales Representative is a key member of our Rx Disposal Sales team, specializing in targeting independent facilities with pharmaceutical disposal needs. This role focuses on adopting a consultative sales approach to understand clients' requirements and tailor our diverse service offerings accordingly. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with independent facilities, promoting our pharmaceutical disposal services, and achieving sales targets through effective communication and strategic sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Target independent facility leads with pharmaceutical disposal needs.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to promote our pharmaceutical disposal services.
• Initiate and maintain proactive sales conversations with potential clients through calls, emails, and other communication channels.
• Conduct consultative sales presentations to effectively communicate the value of our pharmaceutical disposal services.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their unique disposal requirements and recommend tailored service solutions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of sales activities, leads, and client interactions using Salesforce CRM technology.
• Provide regular reports to senior management on sales progress and performance.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and facility-specific disposal requirements to better serve clients.
Required Qualifications:
• Proven experience in sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with CRM technology, such as Salesforce, and the ability to use it effectively.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Self-motivated and goal oriented.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in pharmaceutical sales or healthcare industry sales.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical facilities and an understanding of their specific needs.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical disposal regulations and compliance requirements
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree (or equivalent) preferred.
• 1 year experience in Microsoft Office.
• Strong working knowledge of Salesforce CRM software
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to work from a desk during a regular 8-hour workday, utilizing computer systems and other office equipment.
• Maintain goal call volume, demonstrating sustained focus and attention during communication with potential clients.
• Occasional travel may be required, including air travel or long car journeys, involving extended periods of sitting or standing during client meetings and industry events.
Reporting Structure:
• The Sales Representative will report to the Rx Disposal Program Manager. The Sales Representative will collaborate closely with the other salespeople and account managers.
Performance Expectations:
• Performance in this role will be evaluated based on the successful conversion of leads to accounts and the subsequent generation of disposal orders from those accounts.
• Maintain and nurture client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
• Execute effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing Salesforce CRM software for lead management and reporting.
• Meet deadlines and contribute to the overall success of the sales team.
