We are looking for a Maintenance Manager. As a Maintenance Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functioning of our machinery and facilities. You will be at the heart of safety, quality, and productivity, spearheading the Preventative Maintenance Program to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify and resolve equipment failures, sourcing replacement parts as necessary to maintain continuous operations.
• Lead and motivate the Maintenance Team, setting clear goals and monitoring performance to foster a culture of high achievement.
• Strategically plan and implement the Preventive Maintenance Program, ensuring thorough coverage of all equipment and facilities.
• Serve as a liaison for inspections and maintain active communication with various departments and external entities.
• Oversee the maintenance of critical facility equipment and systems, including electrical, air compressors, boilers, and hazardous waste management.
• Efficiently prioritize and assign maintenance tasks, promoting a culture of safety and adherence to work practices.
• Collaborate on plant projects, ensuring successful machine modifications, relocations, and overhauls to boost productivity.
• Innovate and upgrade equipment for operational efficiency and cost reduction.
• Manage and supervise external contractors, from the bidding process to project completion.
• Facilitate fabrications and machine part acquisitions with external machine shops.
• Contribute to safety protocols, participate in accident investigations, and environmental compliance.
• Manage maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations and quality repair workmanship.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Over 5 years of experience in plant maintenance, with a successful track record in a supervisory role.
• Expertise in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) systems required.
• Experience with printing, paper converting machinery, and familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication systems is a plus.
• Exceptional knowledge of machinery, manufacturing equipment, and maintenance best practices.
• Strong diagnostic skills in electrical system failures with a basic understanding of PLC and VFD.
• Proven mechanical aptitude, including the ability to calculate gear ratios and proficiency with machine shop equipment.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and 5S methodologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
