Immediate opening for a Class A CDL Home Daily Truck Driver and we want the right Driver to join us at Ryder in Swanton VT

$1650 per week - And it gets better

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Manual transmission experience required
• Solo Miles Pay : $0.55 per Mile with 1364 Miles per Week
• Solo Stops Pay : $34.64 per Stop with 20 Stops per Week
• Load pay : 7 per week at $23.09 per load
• Per Diem Pay : $100 layover only 1 per week in Booked Hotel
• Loyalty Bonus : $3500 at $1750 at 6 months and $1750 at 1 year
• Safety Bonus : $1000 at $250 per quarter four times a year
• Performance Bonus : $1000 at $250 per quarter four times a year
• Sign On Bonus : $1500 at $750 at 30 days and $750 at 90 days
• Paid Training
• Schedule : Monday Friday
• Start Time : 2 : 00AM - 8 : 00AM

• Route : Home Daily with 1 layover per week in booked hotel, No Weekends
• Tractor Type : Day Cab & Straight Truck
• Trailer Type : 40' Hydraulic Tanker, 28' Hydraulic Tanker, Straight / Tanker, 24' Box Truck
• Equipment : Electric Pallet Jack; Lift Gate
• Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
• Freight : Touch - Feed

Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24 / 7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle :
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and / or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and / or procedures

Important Note : Additional requirements may be required in different locations and / or accounts.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and / or state laws, regulations, and / or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Performs other duties as assigned
