$800 or more per week - And it gets better

Driver Positions Pay Weekly

Solo Miles Pay : $0.58 per Mile with 800 Miles per Week

Solo Stops Pay : $23.73 per Stop with 10 - 15 Stops per Week

Per Diem Pay : $26.52 per Night with 1 Night out per Week

Schedule : Monday - Saturday Work Options

Start Time : 10 : 00 PM - 4 : 00 AM

Trucks are three years or newer. Ryder Drivers Service the Route, not the Truck. All Drivers have 24 / 7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800 Maintenance Facilities.

Deliver SOLO To : TX, LA and MS

Route : Local Home Daily / Regional 1 layover per week

Tractor Type : Day Cab and Sleeper

Trailer Type : 48' - 53' Dry Van with Lift Gate

Equipment : Pallet Jack and Lift Gate

Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful

Freight : Touch Automotive Parts

Endorsements : Hazmat - At Time of Interview

Must have 12 Months Hazmat Experience

No Automatic Restriction

Route delivery experience preferred

Requirements :

Minimum 21 years of age

Pass a Ryder Drug Test

Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

Pass a DOT physical

Pass a Ryder road test

Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position

Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle :

9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR

2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR

5 years’ experience within the last 10 years

Ability to follow written and / or oral instructions

Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and / or procedures

Important Note : Additional requirements may be required in different locations and / or accounts.

Responsibilities :

This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a commercial vehicle and requires compliance with safety & DOT Regulations, continuous training and customer service

Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to : Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and / or state laws, regulations, and / or agency rules, standards and guidelines Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
