We have an opening for or Class A Driver Development Program and want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Georgetown KY!

You might be wondering what your paycheck will look like. 

$1025 or more per week - And it gets better after Training

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Weekly pay during training - $1025
• After Training you will Average $1350/Week
• Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week
• Paid Training
• Schedule: Monday – Friday; Some Saturdays 
• Will Train on first and Second Shifts
• After Training will be 5:15 PM - 2:00 AM

Trucks are three years or newer. Ryder Drivers Service the Route, not the Truck. All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800 Maintenance Facilities.

• Route: Local Home Daily - Yard Position - NO Deliveries
• Only Leave Yard for Fuel
• Freight - No Touch - Yard Work
• Yard Truck Automatic Transmissions

Requirements

• 9 months or less of CDL driving experience
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder background and a Motor Vehicle Registration check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A
• Ability to:
• • Follow written and/or oral instructions
  • Read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Important Note: Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) regarding the checking in and out of freight
• Perform other duties as assigned
