Ryders Health Management is Hiring a Porter/ floor tech Near Windham, CT

Porters Responsibilities:
  • Clean all common areas and rooms by sweeping, vacuuming, moping, scrubbing, dusting, etc.
  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
  • must have knowlage of floor refinshing process .
  • Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
  • Protecting equipment and making sure there are no inadequacies.
  • Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.
Porter Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to work every other weekend.

Job SummaryThe primary purpose of your job position is to perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, and/or the Director of Housekeeping, to assure that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.
