What You’ll Do…
- Monitor quality by taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, adjusting and reprogramming control
- Machine all types of materials (steel, aluminum, stainless and plastics)
- Adhere to quality assurance procedures and processes
- Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies
- Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of his position at any time
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- May stand for long periods of time
- Must have adequate sight to read blueprints
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of G & M codes, preferred
- Minimum of 6 months experience as a machinist in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with HAAS CNC mills, preferred
- Experience with HAAS CNC lathes, preferred
- Ability to read precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges
- Ability to speak, write, read and comprehend procedures in English
- Ability to machine all types of materials
- Ability to work assigned hours plus overtime as needed
