The Retail Sales Associate will carry out the company mission of creating authentic and memorable entertainment experiences which inspire people within the retail area of the Opry Shop. This position will adhere to the company service basics while providing flawless service to all our guests and promoting the retail products at the Opry Shop in the Nashville International Airport.

• Provide polite and courteous service to all guests. Provide information about current and upcoming events while actively greeting and welcoming all guests into the store.
• Actively engage all guests on the sales floor. Provide excellent customer service by adhering to all customer service initiatives as laid out by management.
• Actively sell and upsell products based on customer likes and needs.
• Learn and know the product collections that are carried in each location. Become proficient in the inventory carried to better assist all guests.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining merchandising presentations throughout the store, including visual presentations. Keep merchandise stocked and the store properly filled and organized throughout the shift.
• Maintain general order and cleanliness of merchandise location and stockrooms, including cleaning windows, spot sweeping floors, dusting displays, and emptying trashcans as needed.
• Accountable for daily cash register sales and proper check-in/check-out procedures, adhering to Ryman Hospitality cash-handling policies. Ensure adding on to sales is done with consistency.
• Responsible for the work of others as requested.
• Provide the management team with customer comments and feedback about the merchandise, offerings, and experiences at our facilities.
• Report any concerns, maintenance problems, etc., to management.
• Responsible for being familiar with emergency procedures and responding accordingly in emergencies, ensuring that both guests and employees in the specific area of responsibility follow emergency protocols in accordance with MNAA emergency procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• 1 years of experience in customer service, sales, and/or cash handling preferred

• Possess an outgoing personality and an aptitude for sales

• Must meet all requirements to receive required airport SIDA badge, including successful completion of a background check
