Salary Range: Based on experience

Job Summary: As Ryse’s Forklift Operator, you will have the opportunity to support Ryse’s operations by safely operating company forklifts to move, relocate, stack, and count merchandise around the warehouse and production areas achieving effective warehouse flows.

Responsibilities:

• Operate company forklifts to move materials throughout the facility
• Practice and maintain safety best practices, protocols, and procedures while operating forklifts
• Load, unload, and reload materials onto and off trucks, carriers, and warehouse shelves
• Perform routine pre- and post-operational inspections of forklifts
• Report mechanical abnormalities or safety hazards to warehouse management
• Document movement of materials for accurate inventory records as required by the role
• Assist with other general warehouse duties as needed, including but not limited to picking and packing orders
• Communicate effectively and harmoniously with coworkers and supervisors
• Maintain a clean, organized work area

Education and Requirements:

• Valid forklift operator certification and/or license
• Experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse environment
• Able to lift and move objects up to 55 lbs. or greater without equipment assistance
• Able to bend, stretch, stoop, climb, and perform other physical acts associated with the role
• Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and procedures

Standout Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (e.g. GED)
• Experience with inventory management software
• Familiarity with different kinds of forklifts (e.g. sit-down, stand-up, etc.)
• Additional certifications in safety related to equipment operation
• Strong attention to detail
