Clinical Director
S&B Behavioral Health Care is a licensed program that provides OP | IOP | PHP services for individuals with substance use disorders. We are looking for a qualified and experienced Clinical Director to join our team and lead our clinical staff and operations.
As a clinical director, you will be responsible for:
- Developing, implementing, and evaluating the clinical policies, procedures, and protocols of the program
- Supervising, training, and mentoring the clinical staff, including counselors, therapists, nurses, and case managers
- Ensuring the quality and effectiveness of clinical services and outcomes
- Coordinating and collaborating with other departments, agencies, and stakeholders
- Managing the clinical budget and resources
- Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and standards
To be eligible for this position, you must have at least one of the following qualifications:
- A master’s degree in counseling or a related discipline regulated under the Health Occupations Article, Annotated Code of Maryland, and certification or licensure as an alcohol and drug counselor by the Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists; or
- Approval to supervise by the Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems and other healthcare technology
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Strong problem-solving skills
In addition to the minimum requirements, we prefer candidates who have:
- At least three years of experience in providing or supervising substance use disorder treatment
- Knowledge and skills in evidence-based practices, such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and medication-assisted treatment
- Ability to work with diverse populations and cultural backgrounds
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
