Job Summary:The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring talent for various positions within the construction industry. This role requires a critical thinker with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the construction labor market. The ideal candidate will have experience in recruiting for construction roles and a passion for building strong teams.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Recruitment Strategies: Create and execute effective recruitment plans to meet the hiring needs of the company, focusing on both short-term and long-term staffing goals.
  • Sourcing Candidates: Utilize various channels such as job boards, social media, industry networks, and employee referrals to identify and attract potential candidates and building a candidate pipeline.
  • Screening and Interviewing: Conduct initial phone screens, coordinate and participate in interviews, and manage the selection process to ensure a high-quality candidate experience.
  • Job Posting and Advertising: Write and post job advertisements on appropriate platforms to reach a diverse pool of candidates.
  • Candidate Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates, providing a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, job requirements, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Employment Branding: Promote the company’s employer brand through various channels and ensure a strong online presence to attract top talent.
  • Recruitment Metrics: Track and analyze recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make data-driven improvements.
  • Compliance: Ensure all recruitment practices comply with employment laws and company policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of the construction labor market and industry-specific recruitment practices, preferred.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
    • Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
    • Strong organizational skills with ability to work independently as as part of a team.
