Summary:

The Scheduler (II) role involves implementing established project controls policies and procedures. Scheduler (II) will play a role in the development of Bid Schedules, Baseline Schedules, maintenance of multiple smaller to Mid-size heavy civil construction projects. Additionally, Scheduler II will assist the Project manager in the development of Time impact Analysis, Mitigations/Recovery Analysis and Claim Analysis.

Essential Duties:

Bid Schedule Developments (Smaller to Mid-size projects)

• Review contract documents and prepare a summary of all the constraints
• Development of KMZ files
• Development of Summary Schedules
• Development of a detailed CPM schedule utilizing Oracle Primavera P6 software
• Development of Revenue and Cost loading Schedules
• Develop a list of Opportunity and Risks based on the Schedule Development
• Development of Cashflow Analysis
• Development of presentations

Baseline Schedule Development (Smaller to Mid-size projects)

• Project Kickoffs and Baseline Schedule Developments
• Collaborate with the project manager, project engineers and superintendents to develop the Baseline Schedule
• Provide a detailed project resources and equipment needs
• Revenue and cost load project baseline schedule
• Assist Project Manager addressing owner comments
• Assist project manager in weekly schedule updates and review of monthly reports

Weekly Schedule Maintenance and Monthly Schedule Reports (Smaller to Mid-size projects)

• Assist project Manager preparing and reviewing lookahead schedules
• If applicable, preparation of billings through the revenue loaded schedule
• Update weekly/monthly dashboards

Risk Management

• Assist Project Manager in identifying potential Schedule risks to projects, contributing to risk assessments and mitigation planning.
• If applicable, Identify any cashflow risks.
• Change Management and risks related to project changes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in Schedule control, Heavy Civil construction, or related industry
• Advanced Primavera P6 knowledge
• PowerBI skills are preferred
• Ability to self-prioritize and self-start projects and task work
• Ability to effectively multi-task similar activities in a fast paced, time sensitive environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Advanced verbal, written and presentation communication skills
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge and experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint
