Maintenance Technician
Carolina Foods is the founding bakery of Duchess Brand snacks and creator of one of America's first Honey Buns. Our business has been in operation since 1934, and our products are synonymous with quality, innovation, and a longer shelf-life. We are a manufacturer of sweet baked goods and our products include a variety of delicious individually wrapped items, including: honey buns, baked pies, fried pies, and gem donuts to serve all customers' needs. Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will have food manufacturing experience and is responsible for maintaining industrial equipment to operate in the safest and most productive condition to support production strategies and allow for steady reliability of bakery equipment. Maintenance Technicians execute Flow Wrapper and Bagger Maintenance while maintaining the ability to perform electrical troubleshooting. This position requires attention to detail, mechanical ability, and the ability to multi-task. Hourly rate will be determined by experience, education, and skills test evaluation.
Salary: up to $35/hour
Shift Schedule-
- Day, 6am-6pm. 2-2-3 rotation
- Night, 6pm-6am, 2-2-3 rotation
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
