Housekeeper

Reports to: Operations Manager
Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Housekeeper is to perform a variety of cleaning duties in the assigned area. This position is responsible for keeping all areas of the office, public areas, and common areas clean and sanitary. The Housekeeper will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness of assigned area, including other housekeepers and custodians.

Essential Duties:
Perform general cleaning duties, including, but not limited to, sweeping, sweeping/scrubbing, dusting, vacuuming, polishing, and window washing.

• Clean restrooms by removing trash and restocking supplies; cleaning restroom fixtures and disposing trash in the correct location.
• Cleaning and maintaining restrooms to maintain cleanliness by removing trash and restocking supplies; sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Cleaning kitchen areas by taking out trash; wiping surfaces; wiping down tables and chairs; cleaning and sanitizing utensils; cleaning and sanitizing fixtures.
• Follow all health and safety standards including COVID-19 guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills: The following skills are required for this position: *
*Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

• Reads, writes, speaks, and understands English sufficiently to perform job duties.
• Has basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and multiplication-division skills.
• Has basic computer skills including using a personal computer or laptop computer system for data entry and data processing. Has basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel. Has good time management skills with the ability to organize work with minimal supervision. Has good communication skills by being able to effectively communicate with other employees and outside agencies. Has good organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively for multiple tasks while juggling multiple tasks at one time while managing between 10-15 employees at one time with the ability to multitask effectively under time constraints.
