We are seeking a meticulous and dynamic General Services Coordinator with a specialization in travel to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of travel coordination for our organization, ensuring smooth and efficient travel arrangements for employees. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Travel Coordination:
  • Plan and coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements for employees, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and any necessary documentation.
  • Ensure all travel bookings align with company policies and budgets.
  • Handle last-minute changes or cancellations, and manage any travel disruptions effectively.
Vendor Management:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with travel agencies, airlines, hotels, and other travel vendors to negotiate favorable rates and terms.
  • Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or concerns promptly.
Policy Compliance:
  • Stay up-to-date with travel regulations, visa requirements, and health and safety guidelines.
  • Ensure employees are aware of and adhere to company travel policies and procedures.
  • Travel Support:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for travel-related inquiries and support for employees.
  • Offer guidance and assistance with travel planning, visa applications, and travel insurance.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of travel itineraries, expenses, and approvals.
  • Generate reports on travel metrics, including cost savings, travel patterns, and compliance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in travel coordination or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of travel booking systems and online travel tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and travel management software.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
