As a Kinesiology Instructor at Sabai Professional Massage Academy, you will play a crucial role in educating future massage therapists on the principles of human movement and anatomy. Your expertise in kinesiology will help students understand the mechanics of the human body, enabling them to apply this knowledge effectively in therapeutic massage practice. This position requires a passion for teaching, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of kinesiology principles.

Responsibilities:

• Teach courses in kinesiology applicable to massage therapy students.
• Teach lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments to enhance student learning.
• Provide individualized instruction and support to students as needed.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
• Incorporate practical demonstrations and hands-on exercises to reinforce theoretical concepts.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to coordinate curriculum across related courses.
• Stay current with advancements in kinesiology research and massage therapy practices.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development activities, and school events.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic progress.

Requirements:

• Degree or experience in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Anatomy, Physiology, or a related field.
• Previous teaching experience preferred, particularly in a higher education or vocational training setting.
• Professional certification or licensure in massage therapy (e.g., CMT, LMT) is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and development.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and learning management systems.

Pay: $144.00 - $260.00 per day
