POSITION SUMMARY:

Support, guide and support all facilities in Pennsylvania to help prepare for annual survey, as well as as assist in the development of Plan of Corrections with conducting Mock Surveys, staff training and education to insure compliance and quality care to our residents. This position requires travel throughout the state of Pennsylvania. 

Responsibilities:

• Assists the DON and facility staff with the identification, corrective action and assignment of duties necessary to bring an out-of-compliance clinical system/process, back into compliance
• Assist the facility in survey readiness and revisit plans
• Assist the facility to correct the areas identified as out of compliance with the Mock Survey and Plan of Correction 
• Assist staff with training and teaching opportunities as needed
• Attend clinical meetings during site visits
• Facilitate learning and hands on participation in clinical competencies for nurses and certified nursing assistants based on gap analysis identified in nursing practice

Education & Qualifications:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state(s) assigned
• Prefer a Bachelor’s degree from a four (4) year college or university or four (4) to five (5) years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must hold a certification in Infection Prevention
• Must have proven leadership ability with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in nursing service, administration preferred
• Must hold active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania. 

Experience:

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role in a skilled nursing facility or other related healthcare community, preferably in long term care.
