Sabre is Hiring a Regional Director Near Southlake, TX

Sabre is looking to hire an Director of Airline Accounts for our customers in North America. This role will report into the VP of NA Sales and Account Management and has the consideration to be based out of our major markets in Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago, NYC and Los Angeles. This Director will represent Sabre and focus on generating new opportunities by pairing the company’s vision and strategy with the business goals of our customers. They should offer a deep knowledge of the industry and market solutions.
Role And Responsibilities
  • Represent Sabre to external customers by sharing our business value, key functions and related business process for the entire Sabre Operations and Distribution portfolio
  • Fully understand all core aspects of the underlying technology and the portfolio integration
  • Execute a thorough business development plan to meet time and budget goals
  • Lead and guide a team of solution managers, account managers, project and delivery experts to qualify a lead, define the appropriate solution offering, manage the internal financial approval process and proposal generation in a disciplined well documented process
  • Build and maintain confident and long-lasting relationships at the senior executive level in order to leads ales pursuits from inception to final contract execution including customer negotiations
  • Maintain current industry/market knowledge and provide relevant insights in order to grow customer portfolio and best meet customer needs
  • Provide consistent communication and updates on business development efforts
  • Represent Sabre in industry technical forums and to the media
  • Create and lead presentations to internal and external teams
  • Must be able to travel domestically 50% within the United States
Education And Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • 10 years of experience in similar role
  • 8 years of experience directly managing, leading and coaching a team
  • Microsoft Office with a high proficiency in Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong executive presence
  • Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while managing a team
  • Experience leading, coaching and managing teams to meet project goals
  • Expert negotiator and problem-solver with strong influential skills
  • Proven success with developing and maintaining strong relationships and professional networks
