Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to become a part of our team! You will represent clients in areas of business litigation, partnership dispute, real estate dispute and employment defense.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in Federal and State courts, arbitration forums (such as JAMS) or before government agencies such as FEHA
- Prepare and draft pleadings and discovery requests/responses
- Taking and defending depositions
- Negotiate settlements
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of previous experience in civil litigation
- Strong writing, analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate and build rapport with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong team player, able to work efficiently with other attorneys and supporting staff
