Hotel: Sacramento Holiday Inn Executive Housekeeper Full time Atrium SPIRIT – where teamwork, passion and appreciation ignite service excellence Pay rate: $66,560-$85,000 FREE parking in the DOCO garage right next door FREE shift meal PAID Vacation Time Dailypay Primary Purpose: The primary purpose of the Executive Housekeeper is to provide guests with an excellent room experience, ensuring that all operational standards and procedures for the Housekeeping and Laundry Department (including brand and Atrium requirements) are being followed by all Associates. Work Performed: The Executive Housekeeper will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments: Ensure financial goals of the department and the hotel are being met by managing labor costs, controlling expenses for supplies and equipment, and determining revenue-driving and cost-saving initiatives; Create a best-in-class guest experience by engaging with guests, providing friendly service, meeting operational standards, resolving guest concerns, and ensuring that all Associates in Housekeeping and Laundry are doing likewise; Training and educating Associates regarding brand standards and Cleanliness Assured; Manage the department by ensuring Associates understand employment practices, recommending employment decisions and corrective action, supporting performance management, and implementing discipline; Provide services to guests in an efficient and timely manner by coordinating with other departments and peers; Recommend changes that could improve service and increase operational efficiency; Perform and/or assist with cleaning duties as necessary; Maintain records and daily reports of operations; Maintain an accurate record of lost and found items; Practice hotel emergency procedures to include fire, life, and safety; Monitor property condition, cleanliness, and quality of product and service throughout hotel; Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions; Support other departments as needed based on business demands; and Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position. Qualifications: Required Prior Experience: 3 years of experience in Hotel Management Preferred Prior Experience: Experience in Housekeeping Management Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred Education: Associates degree or higher in hospitality, business, or related field Required Technology: Basic computer knowledge, including the Microsoft Suite of Word, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook, and Teams Experience with hotel information systems Required Physical: Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs occasionally Able to stand and/or walk for duration of scheduled shift Required Other: Flexible to working days, early mornings, evenings, nights weekends, holidays, and special events Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred Other: Bi-Lingual Competencies: (65) Managing Vision and Purpose Communicates a compelling and inspired vision or sense of core purpose; talks beyond today; talks about possibilities; is optimistic; creates mileposts and symbols to rally support behind the vision; makes the vision sharable by everyone; can inspire and motivate entire units or organizations.
