Currently we are seeking a Senior Readiness / Logistics Analyst at Patuxent River Naval Air Station, MD. The position will provide data evaluation and readiness degrader identification support along with associated courses of corrective action to the Deputy Assistant Program Manager for Logistics within a NAVAIR program office.

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with Deputy Assistant Program Managers for Logistics and Readiness Cell Lead

supporting both legacy in-service and new product development systems and subsystems

related to aviation programs

• Assist the Government in technical review of various information data sets and evaluate the

impacts of any proposed changes that would impact the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and

operational readiness

• Evaluate and present alternatives for establishing or changing new or existing systems and

equipment

• Identify the quantitative and qualitative data necessary to support new budget and finance

initiatives required in response to changing/evolving technical, acquisition and operational

logistic needs

• Assist the Government in conducting analyses, technical studies and reports in support of

scheduling and management efforts

• Prepare reports and presentations as required

Experience Required:

• Prior military aviation sustainment experience and familiarity with Navy/Marine Corps and/or

USAF aerospace programs

• Prior experience evaluating data from multiple operational and logistics data

sources/dashboards and conducting independent analysis to develop root cause and corrective

action alternatives for management

• Familiarity with analytical and dashboard developmental tool sets

• C-130 Maintainer or Maintenance Material Control Officer/Chief experience

• Must be a US Citizen

• Must have the ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance

Experience Preferred:

• Sustainment and Acquisition program office experience

• Extensive background with Logistics/Integrated Product Support practices and processes

• Expert abilities utilizing Deckplate, Tableau, and other Government and Commercial software and

database tools
