Schedule:  Evening shift 3PM to 11PM / 2PM to 10PM (seasonal

 This position performs repairs, general preventative, and maintenance tasks as assigned on the buildings and equipment of the facilities including non-EPA HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, and pool equipment repairs. Will also assist other maintenance facilities staff with daily work orders and preventive maintenance. Will ensure outside areas are maintained according to expected standards. Other job duties may include basic prep work for painting, changing lights, hanging pictures, and moving furniture, trash removal and clean up. Performs other duties as assigned. Frequently works with custodial staff.

Requirements

• 4 years of facility maintenance experience in one or more of the following; plumbing equipment, painting, commercial kitchen equipment, roofing construction and/or carpentry. 
• Basic facility maintenance, custodial and house cleaning experience, desirable. 
• Must be able to follow oral and written directions in English. 
• Must exhibit quality of patience, a positive attitude toward interactions with residents and employees. 
• Must be able to work in a team environment. 
• Must be self-motivated and work without supervision.
• Diploma or GED preferred. 
•  Vocational education in maintenance related field strongly preferre.
