THE TYPE OF DIRECTOR OF WINE PRODUCTION WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the wine industry, with a strong focus on production
• Sales or marketing experience
• Proven track record of developing and managing successful wine programs
• In-depth knowledge of winemaking techniques, grape varietals, and global winemaking regions
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and winery management software
• Passion for wine education and creating memorable guest experiences
• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, leadership, and team-building skills

WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE OUR DIRECTOR OF WINE PRODUCTION

In this full-time role, you will typically work during normal business hours. However, flexibility is required during peak production times to ensure the highest quality in our winemaking process.

You will begin your day by collaborating with our founder and winemaker to refine our offerings. You will oversee grape selection, manage inventory, and ensure every step of the winemaking process meets our high standards. Your afternoons will be filled with developing strategies to expand our distribution, working on label designs with the marketing team, and fostering relationships with local restaurants and retailers. You will also manage our wine club, creating engaging membership strategies and enhancing guest education. Throughout the day, you will be a mentor to your team, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative environment that strives for excellence.
