Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, driving sales growth, and contributing to the overall success of our retail store.

Duties

- Greet customers, provide product information, and answer questions to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves, Animal care and keeping the store tidy.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our products and services, staying up-to-date on new releases and promotions.
- Assist with training and developing new sales associates.
- Provide feedback on sales performance and offer suggestions for improvement.
- Utilize effective sales techniques to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Negotiate prices and promotions with customers to drive sales.
- Participate in sales meetings and contribute to the development of sales strategies.
- Demonstrate a commitment to customer service and ensure all interactions are professional and courteous.
- Maintain a high level of organizational skills, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.

Experience

- Previous experience 2 years as a retail sales associate or in a related sales role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience with POS systems and inventory management.
- Fluency in multiple languages is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
