The Power BI Developer will provide support to new and existing marinas users and members within the Safe Harbor portfolio by resolving data related queries, developing reports, import/export data into SQL Servers, maintaining data integrity and providing organization support for applications through features and functionalities. Success in this role requires organizational, collaborative, communicative, and analytical skills. The Power BI Developer reports to the Director of Applications and Systems Support. This role may also be referred to as Applications Support Analyst.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Development of Power BI UX design.
• Experience creating visually appealing and interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI.
• Maintain and improve existing reports with an updated UX approach and consistent design.
• Design and maintain Power BI semantic data models, including those using row and column level security.
• Design and implement DAX formulas and measures to extract actionable insights from complex semantic models.
• Experience working with end users and stakeholders to determine report requirements.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Develop data models for OLTP and OLAP architectures.
• Building analytical tools to utilize data pipelines, providing actionable insight into key business performance metrics.
• Working knowledge of the SQL Server as it relates to Power BI.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data or reporting functionality.
• Experience with developing ETL processes.

Minimum Technical Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of experience in analytics and data visualization.
• Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in computer science or management information systems preferred.
• Experience with Power BI required.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps.
• Experience working with Dax Studio and Tabular editor preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills to determine technical solutions based on requirements.
• Strong understanding of OLAP and OLTP data architectures including data modeling.
