Safe Harbor is a Christ-centered community for rebuilding, renewing, and recovery. Our non-profit serves women recovering from substance use disorder, women living in low poverty and/or experiencing homelessness, and women in transitional housing.

Duties:

• Load and unload furniture
• Assist primar dock worker
• Help move furniture to sales floor
• Inspect clothing for tears and stains, check pockets, spray and hang
• Track daily production totals
• Ensure checklists are completed on a daily basis
• sort items between keep, recycle and trash
• Go out on pickups when needed

Qualifications:

• Valid NC driver’s license; good driving record
• High school diploma or GED, minimum
• Highly organized, efficient worker; capable decision-maker and effective leader
• Proficiency in English language- spoken and written
• Ability to effectively present information to individuals and groups
• Ability to perform basic math functions
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks; ability to delegate tasks to others with appropriate authority
• Basic computer skills- working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and social media
• Has strong work ethic- conscientious of schedule and maximizes work time

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
