Job Overview:

In partnership with the Executive Director, the Director of Development will:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive capital fundraising campaign
• Manage the Capital Campaign, execute campaign strategy and meet campaign goals
• Participate in Capital Campaign Committee meetings, develop agendas and key takeaways
• Communicate capital campaign case of support
• Promote the Safe Inc. mission, programs and strategic direction to donors and the wider community
• Cultivate critical partnerships with businesses and the community
• Create and deliver a consistent fundraising message to the public
• Identify and solicit major donors
• Assist with non-capital program-specific fundraising efforts
• Support executive leadership in strategic goals, policies and procedures
• Identify target donor audiences and develop appropriate strategies to reach them
• Manage pledges, donor communications, and donor recognition
• Define and pursue additional funding opportunities to support projects
• Create outreach materials and solicitation letters
• Support donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship efforts
• Increase donor giving opportunities through matching gifts, stock transfers, etc.
• Be computer literate with strong skills in Word, Excel, e-mail systems and other programs
• Have experience and knowledge of fundraising and networking
• Understand and utilize fundraising software
• Demonstrate excellence in written and verbal communication skills

: A Bachelors, with a minimum one year of fundraising experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 per year
