We are committed to providing a safe and secure shopping environment for our customers and employees. We are looking for a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to ensure the safety of our camp.

*Job Summary:*

As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for safeguarding our clients' premises, assets, and personnel. Your primary duties will include conducting patrols at regular and random intervals, serving as a visual deterrent, and responding to security incidents promptly and professionally.

*Duties:*

• Conduct regular patrols to detect and prevent unauthorized access and activities.
• Respond to alarms and emergency situations.
• Monitor camp premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and other security breaches.
• Make eye contact and acknowledge visitors as they walk onto camp grounds.
• Maintain records of daily activities and incidents.
• Enforce camp policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment.
• Collaborate with camp management and local law enforcement when necessary.

*Requirements:*

• Proven experience as a security guard or relevant position.
• Strong observation and surveillance skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and handle emergency situations efficiently.
• Valid New York security guard license.
• Basic knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods.

*Experience:*

• Previous experience in law enforcement, loss prevention, or military service is preferred.
• Proficiency in conflict management/de-escalation techniques.
• Certification in CPR, First Aid, or relevant security training is a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
