We are currently looking for a part-time Communications Independent Contractor to support our work as we prepare to serve more survivors in greater ways.

What You'll Be Doing: SafeHouse Denver is seeking a creative and strategic part-time Communications Specialist-Independent Contractor to manage and implement our communications efforts. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
E-newsletters and Blog: Prepare and distribute monthly electronic newsletters and blog entries.
Website Management: Ensure the SafeHouse Denver website is updated with relevant and engaging content.
Social Media Management: Develop and manage a social media content calendar, create content, engage with the community, and analyze performance metrics.
Print and Digital Media: Produce and design the SafeHouse Journal, Annual Report, event collateral, and other printed material.
Communications Strategy: Develop and implement an annual communications strategy in line with development objectives.
Do You Have What It Takes? - Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong writing, editing, and design skills.
- Demonstrated experience in communications, marketing, or public relations.
- Proficiency with social media platforms and content management systems. •Mastery of storytelling, building community, and driving engagement.
- Experience with tools like Canva, Constant Contact, and social media management platforms.
- Strong digital portfolio.
- Ability to foster and maintain effective relationships.
- Superior interpersonal skills.
