Description: As a Commercial Service Technician at SafeTouch Security, you'll complete service calls for existing surveillance, access control security systems, and virtual security guard applications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex service issues.
• Service and install surveillance systems, access control systems, and gate operators.
• Assist with installations and upgrades.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.
• Accurately complete required paperwork.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory for service vehicles.
• Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic networking skills.
• Successful completion of a drug screen and background check for employment and criminal history.
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets insurance requirements.
• Perform limited travel as needed. A company vehicle will be provided.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience installing and servicing access control systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 25 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work on a ladder up to 20’.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with the job.

Job Type: Full-time, non-exempt

Hours: Monday through Friday

Work Location: Tampa, FL.

Salary: $25-$30 per hour

Reports to: Operations Manager
