This individual performs the critical role of developing and verifying prospect lists, introducing Safety Net to new clients via phone, and setting up appointments for field-based Business Development Representatives to meet them and learn more about their business.

Critical Success Factors Sincere and confident conversation style High achievement drive Outstanding listening skills Optimism and resiliency Key Tasks and Responsibilities LEAD GENERATION Make outbound telephone calls to prospective clients, typically as part of a marketing campaign plan, introducing the company to dozens of potential clients every day Ask questions to identify best contact person(s) Set appointments for sales team Record information learned and details of interactions into CRM software Hand off qualified opportunities with detailed information to Business Development Representative DATABASE MANAGEMENT Update and qualify existing list of prospects to ensure the Safety Net CRM contains accurate and qualified prospective clients SALES AND MARKETING ASSISTANCE Help maintain strong relationships with partners and referral sources, through social media and other sharing of information beneficial to those parties Special projects as determined by management Required Qualifications A very positive attitude, thick skin, and a sense of humor At least two years of professional work experience, preferably in a business-to-business environment Strong interpersonal skills, including a professional and pleasant telephone demeanor Demonstrable written communication skills.
Must be able to spell and use correct grammar and punctuation Established time management Ability to navigate and learn new software and systems Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite : Outlook, Word intermediate level or higher High school diploma or GED Valid driver’s license Preferred Qualifications Experience working as an inside sales professional or in phone-based customer service Experience communicating with business owners and executives Experience using CRM software Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, or related disciplines ABOUT THE PERKS Compensation based on experience $19-21 / hour plus commission and bonuses Benefits package available on Day 1!
