INSIDE SALES – OUTDOOR POWER SPECIALIST

Ability to provide “legendary customer service” to all customers.

Responsible to assist customers at the Contractor Center Service Counter with all aspects of building materials, janitorial cleaning supplies, and outdoor power equipment.

Be familiar with store layout so you can assist customers as needed.

Complete Stihl Bronze Level Training and become proficient in all Stihl Outdoor Power Tools

Complete Stihl Silver Level Training and become proficient in trouble shooting, assisting with minor tool repairs, tune-ups, and chain sharpening.

Learn and become proficient in all Stihl training, warranty management, and ordering procedures, and troubleshooting guides available on the Stihl website.

Learn and become proficient in Service Manager Module on Safford Builders computer system.

Learn and become proficient in selling and servicing Firman Generators.

Become familiar with all outdoor products available through ACE.

Expand our ability to service Toro lawn mowers and other manufactures as the need arises.

Keep up to date on current trends and product offerings and make recommendations to management on those products that will expand our ability to meet the needs of the current customer demands.

Prepare weekly orders for approval of the Contractor Center Manager and present ideas, new product offerings and future promotions that will enhance our ability to serve customers.

In the Contractor Center at Safford Builders Supply you will be expected to be an integral member of a unique team of professionals who work together in all aspects with each person specializing in specific customers such as mining, government facilities, schools and hospitals, hospitality, industrial, and contractors. Your field will be specific to outdoor power but you will be expected to understand and assist when needed in all areas.

This position currently works a 9AM – 5PM schedule which allows time in the evenings to work to update the showroom and manage promotions with minimal interruptions. Responsibilities for this shift include closing up the Contractor Center for each day.

Salary negotiable and determined by experience and ability to learn quickly and meet expectations.
