We are a fast-growing company looking for an energetic and highly motivated Floor Waxer/Floor Tech to join our talented team. Under limited supervision, this role will be responsible for facilitating floor-care and other cleaning duties of assigned areas in and around designated client sites in San Diego.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Clean and maintain all types of floor surfaces using a high-speed floor machine, auto-scrubber, carpet extractor and power washer
• Clean stainless-steel elevators, restroom partitions and elevator tracks
• Recognize the different types or floor surfaces and cleaning needs
• Strip, seal, finish and polish floors
• Clean overhead vents, dust blinds and polish wood furniture
• Wash windows, partition glass and mirrors
• Use a tucker pole window washing system
• Adhere to safety protocols and environmental services guidelines
• Assist janitorial crew as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 years experience as a floor tech/Waxer and or other janitorial experience
• Experience using cleaning chemicals for various projects
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks
• Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient completion of duties
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver license
• Legal to Work in the U.S.
• Must have a working understanding of technology (smartphone, GPS & email)
• Must have the ability to commute and be comfortable working in multiple locations
• Ability to lift 50lbs

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Evenings as needed
• Evening shift
• Nights as needed
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Floor care: 2 years (Required)
