SAGE Dining Services® is seeking a Talented HANDS ON Chef Manager / Food Service Director for a private boarding school in Saxton Falls, VT.

The Chef Manager will design and produce menus, plan and execute catering events, manage ordering, inventory, and our amazing kitchen team of thirteen hourly employees and a salaried Executive Chef.

Pay Type :

$80,000 - $85,000 Salary

What you'll do :

  • Demonstrate exemplary customer service skills and develop client relationships.
  • Hire, mentor, and train Team Members in a positive environment.
  • Create menus for daily meal service as well as for a variety of catering events.
  • Implement and maintain HACCP standards
  • Manage merchandising.
  • Deliver fabulous catering results every time.
  • Communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively.
  • Deliver budgeted financial results.
  • Manage ordering and inventory.
