Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Kitchen Supervisor to join our dynamic food service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the kitchen operations and ensuring that all food prepared and served meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation. The Kitchen Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day activities of the kitchen, supervise staff, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities

- Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Ensure that all food is prepared and served in accordance with established food safety guidelines.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of kitchen staff, including cooks, servers, and other support personnel.
- Implement and maintain high-quality standards in food preparation, presentation, and service.
- Develop and maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage inventory and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop and implement menu items and promotions.
- Provide training and support to kitchen staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Implement and enforce food safety procedures to ensure that all food is prepared and served in a safe and sanitary manner.

Experience

- Experience in a commercial kitchen or food service environment.
- Proven experience in kitchen management, including food preparation, cooking, catering large groups and supervising kitchen staff.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures.
- Experience in supervising kitchen staff including training .
- Experience in food service management and inventory control.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively supervise and motivate kitchen staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
